These are websites filled with stock photos that buyers can use for
magazines, websites, books, advertisements, etc. You are paid each time
someone downloads your photo. This doesn't necessarily mean they'll use
your photo , but should mention that while driving home the other day I
saw a large billboard on the freeway with the exact same stock photo I

The benefits of micro stock photography are many: You don't need a
website, expensive equipment, nor do you need to meet the strict
quality requirements of professional stock photo agencies.

With the rise of certain online photo stock agencies, all you need is
your digital camera, internet access, and the ability to take action.

Step 1: Register For These Websites!

The first step in how to sell pictures online is registering to these
websites.

There are many micro stock photo agencies out there that you can
register to submit your photos and earn money if they are liked by
potential buyers that visit the site. The benefit of these websites is
that instead of you having to work on the marketing, distribution, etc
of your photos, they do it all! This means you have more time to spend
taking photos instead of selling them.

Step 2: Take Great Photos that Sell!

In order to make money on selling your photos on these sites you can't
just submit any old photo you got on your computer. You need to make
sure that your photos are optimized to get the most sales possible.

When online stock photo websites first started, anybody and everyone
could submit photos and start getting paid. Now, with the rise in
competition, things are a little more difficult. They've gotten picky
as far as which photos they accept and which they don't.

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
